Chasing Vermeer

This story is about a Vermeer painting, "Lady Writing" that is stolen while being transported from New York to Chicago. It starts up worldwide excitement, because the stealer wants everyone to look at the Vermeers and see if the older and the younger painting have the same shine to them, the same feeling as the other paintings. Somehow, two children get all mixed up in this, when they read a book about odd occurrences, such as falling frogs, and things, and find it very interesting. Soon, they are finding coincidences everywhere, and find that some of them can lead to solving this mysterious crime...
