This book was very good. It is about a girl who is the only girl in a family of six boys. She acts mostly as the mother of the family since her own is dead. She is gifted in the healing arts, which comes in handy when she rescues a prisoner from her own father's clutches. Now that her father has remarried everything will change for her and her brothers... I would give this book 5 stars. It is the first in a trilogy.
